The Isaac Hers store is coming along. Here is where the window will be! Twelve feet of glorious window display providing ample natural light inside the store. Such a welcome change from our current location! While the Mississippi store has been good to us, the new store feels much more gracious in every way. The floor plan will allow for more flexible merchandising and a more airy feel. Speaking of airy feel, I think the ceilings are 18′!
So this is the inside. Sexy, huh? Obviously, there is much work still to be done, but the space is a bit larger than the present store. What you cannot see in this picture is that, in the back, there is a large space that dog-legs of to the right. That is where the studio will be. Bummed that, once again, my studio is in a hole with no windows. However, it will be larger and allow for a proper desk and my antique drafting table. That feels luxurious to me! These pictures were taken a week ago, so I am sure that quite a bit of progress has been made since then. Stay tuned….
